Bella Union Sauvignon Blanc – 92 Points
Updated: Jun 22, 2021
What a time to be alive; drive-by graduations in 100 degree weather = confetti and Sauvignon Blanc – oh yesss honayyyy! But in all seriousness, this wine tastes just like the photo its represented by. There is so much flavor packed inside of this newly released Bella Union Sauvignon Blanc. Check out my tasting notes below:
Vintage: 2019
Alcohol percentage: 14.1%
Appellation: Napa Valley (Rutherford)
Appearance: medium intensity, lemon in color.
Nose: medium intensity, with primary aromas.
Sweetness: off-dry almost medium sweet level
Aromas and flavors: citrus fruit and peach aromas; flavors of grapefruit, peach, and melon flavors; bright acidity and a mineral finish.
Conclusion: good wine
Price: $40
Food Recommendation: chili + prawns pasta dish, goat cheese + figs, or with oysters.
Conclusion: listen if I’m paying $40 for a Sauvignon Blanc, it’s going to be this one. You won’t be disappointed, you may however be surprised by how fast you finish a bottle however. (haha!) You can purchase this wine online, here.
Wine Rating: 92 points
*Any wines rated 90 points or more, I recommend. Wines rated 89 points or below means it’s an acceptable wine, but I wouldn’t spend your money on it.*
