Lepe Cellars Zinfandel – 96 Points
Updated: Jun 22, 2021
Labor Day weekend is finally here. 🤩 Thank you to @lepecellars for supplying, some delicious Zinfandel yesterday! ❤️Absolutely enjoyed a little preview for the rest of the long weekend. 💟 I rated this $30/bottle @lepecellars 2018 Zin ↠ 96 points because of its light to medium body, complex, cherry and red plum tasting profile. 🙌 Perfect for an aperitif before movie night! 🍿
Fun facts: 13.7% ABV and comes from the San Antonio Valley in Monterey County.
Conclusion: this wine also had a little black pepper/spice at the finish which helped to create the overall experience lovely. For one of my first Zinfandel wines, it’s kind of my favorite now. You can purchase this wine at Lepe Cellars website here.
Wine Rating: 96 Points
*Any wines rated 90 points or more, I recommend. Wines rated 89 points or below means it’s an acceptable wine, but I wouldn’t spend your money on it.*
