Louis Jadot Chardonnay – 92 Points
Updated: Jun 22, 2021
Louis Jadot was a French bachelor who enjoyed the finer things in life and also all the things in life. Every single one. Why? Because this wine has so much going on flavor and aromas wise, in a great and vibrant kind of way. See below for my tasting notes:
Vintage: 2018
Alcohol percentage: 13%
Appellation: Burgundy, France
Appearance: medium intensity, gold in color.
Nose: medium intensity, with secondary aromas.
Sweetness: dry
Aromas and flavors: yellow fruits, lime, citrus, and passion fruit aromas; flavors of ripe stone apple, pear, crisp acidity with a buttery and oak finish.
Conclusion: good wine
Price: $11.99
Food Recommendation: pasta, soft cheeses, and/or seafood.
Conclusion: French Chardonnay from Burgundy is a must. This particular wine is packed with many fruit flavors. Great conversation wine to enjoy with friends.
Bonus tip: You can watch me drink this wine “live” on my YouTube channel, here.
Wine Rating: 92 points
*Any wines rated 90 points or more, I recommend. Wines rated 89 points or below means it’s an acceptable wine, but I wouldn’t spend your money on it.*
