Interestingly enough you can now get a sip of what it’s like to dine at the famous Napa Valley restaurant. “The 2015 Modicum is an Extra Brut made of 100% Chardonnay created in a special relationship with the celebrated Chef Thomas Keller of the French Laundry in Yountville, CA.” The source: Shramsberg Vineyards. Appellation: North Coast (54% Napa, 46% Sonoma)
Appearance: medium intensity, gold in color.
Nose: medium intensity, with secondary aromas.
Sweetness: dry
Aromas and flavors: crisp apple aromas, pear and toasty flavors.
Conclusion: good wine
Price: $60.00
Food Recommendation: Oysters or Ceviche would pair lovely with this crisp, sparkling wine.
