Reata Chardonnay – 95 Points

Updated: Jun 22, 2021

Sipping Sonoma Coast wines on the Sonoma Coast 🙂 – This chardonnay was as crisp as the air at the beach. Check out my tasting notes below:

  1. Vintage: 2018

  2. Alcohol percentage: 14.4%

  3. Appellation: Sonoma County

  4. Nose: medium intensity, with secondary aromas.

  5. Sweetness: dry

  6. Aromas and flavors: melon, guava, and grapefruit flavors with oak on the palate.

  7. Conclusion: good wine

  8. Price: $20

Food Recommendation: light salads, soft cheeses, or with figs.

Conclusion: Sonoma chardonnay’s are always a good idea. I actually prefer chardonnays from this cooler climate area a lot!

Wine Rating: 95 points

*Any wines rated 90 points or more, I recommend. Wines rated 89 points or below means it’s an acceptable wine, but I wouldn’t spend your money on it.*
