Built on friendship, music and the love of wine, Smith Devereux is a winery founded by Ian Devereux and friends. Ian is a good friend of mine and we visited him this weekend on a vineyard tour to check our their Cabernet vineyard. It was another beautiful day in the Napa Valley surrounded by beautiful friends and good wine.
What I enjoyed about Smith Devereux wines the most was that they were all super approachable, ready to drink and fruit-forward. I noticed that each wine had a lot of fruit at the end of the palette – a signature taste throughout each wine. My favorite wines: SB CA White Blend: 97 points, and No.3 CA Red Blend: 95 points.
