Stag's Leap Wine Cellars - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow where do I even begin? Well first of all hello! I am so sorry I have been behind on blog posts but if you follow me on Instagram, then you have seen the latest wineries I've been too. However, I'm excited to dive deeper and recap the last few months. Starting from where we left off, the third 5 star winery I've featured on my blog thus far: Stag's Leap Wine Cellars located in Napa.

Question: “So how did you get the name Stags Leap Wine Cellars?” 🍷⁣

Answer: “From the legend of the stag who escaped hunters by leaping to freedom across the district’s landmark peaks” aka…. the stag successfully leaped! 👏⁣

This Napa Valley winery is also the historic winner of the Cabernet Sauvignon competition at the 1976 Judgement of Paris. 🇫🇷 For my non-winos that’s a BIG deal.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘕𝘢𝘱𝘢 𝘝𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘱 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯.⁣

This is still wild to me, but when you have to narrow down which places to visit in Napa Valley, make sure to add this one to your list for world class, award-winning wines.

SUMMARY: To say we were in a for a treat during our Celestial Tour & Tasting was an understatement. The tour led by @filipinasomm began through the caves and then a seated tasting of their iconic, estate-grown wines, paired with delicious bites by Chef Travis Westrope.

The wines were incredible – my faves in order: 2018 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗞 𝟮𝟯 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗻, 2018 ARCADIA Vineyard Chardonnay and honestly a tie between the 2018 FAY Vineyard (more acidic) and S.L.V. Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. ⁣

Make a reservation here. Feel free to let them know I sent you, cheers babes!

Price Point: The Napa Valley Collection Tasting Flight starts at $50 and goes up to $125 per person for the Celestial Tour & Tasting. Definitely worth a special occasion.

Location: Napa, CA.

Category: Hidden Gem – A winery off the beaten path and/or offering a unique (top notch) experience.

Winery Experience Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars
