Updated: Jun 22, 2021
Sunday Funday wouldn’t be complete this summer without a crisp, Sauv Blanc from Tolosa Winery. Tolosa Winery is owned by the Alpha Omega Collective and is located in Edna Valley (near San Luis Obispo). See below for my tasting notes:
Vintage: 2019
Alcohol percentage: 13.4%
Appellation: Edna Valley
Appearance: pale intensity, lemon in color.
Sweetness: dry
Aromas: apricot, yellow plum and floral notes.
Flavors: bright acidity with notes of limoncello, lime zest, grapefruit rinds and lemon blossom.
Conclusion: very good wine
Price: $46
Conclusion: if you’re looking for a special bottle of Sauvignon Blanc that everybody will love, this is it. I enjoyed this wine during a picnic and it was amazing. You may also purchase this wine online here.
Wine Rating: 96 Points
*Any wines rated 90 points or more, I recommend. Wines rated 89 points or below means it’s an acceptable wine, but I wouldn’t spend your money on it.*
