Tolosa Sauvignon Blanc – 96 Points

Updated: Jun 22, 2021

Sunday Funday wouldn’t be complete this summer without a crisp, Sauv Blanc from Tolosa Winery. Tolosa Winery is owned by the Alpha Omega Collective and is located in Edna Valley (near San Luis Obispo). See below for my tasting notes:

  1. Vintage: 2019

  2. Alcohol percentage: 13.4%

  3. Appellation: Edna Valley

  4. Appearance: pale intensity, lemon in color.

  5. Sweetness: dry

  6. Aromas: apricot, yellow plum and floral notes.

  7. Flavors: bright acidity with notes of limoncello, lime zest, grapefruit rinds and lemon blossom.

  8. Conclusion: very good wine

  9. Price: $46

Conclusion: if you’re looking for a special bottle of Sauvignon Blanc that everybody will love, this is it. I enjoyed this wine during a picnic and it was amazing. You may also purchase this wine online here.

Wine Rating: 96 Points

*Any wines rated 90 points or more, I recommend. Wines rated 89 points or below means it’s an acceptable wine, but I wouldn’t spend your money on it.*
